3D Fundamentals and Model Creation: Beginning to Begin








The prior images are creations utilizing Maya and Zbrush to compile objects that have form and texture.  These images are the beginning and building blocks to my ability to create sound and functional form within the tools of the computer animation and game art trades respectively.  Working in both programs has taught me a lot thus far on the melding of various programs to get a complete and finalized piece.  The issues and problems that arise during the transitional phases from one application to another has taught me a great deal about correct topology, uv mapping and workflow management.  As I am no master the pieces contained in this short post turned out fairly reasonable until placed in maya for the final render.  It would seem that I still have a lot to learn....
